November 2015 – Planting alder seedlings and spraying them with a repellent


Action C2 ,, restoration of natural ecological processes supporting conservation and alluvial forests of Prejmer, priority habitat 91E0 * ”, during November, works were undertaken to increase consistency  by planting Alder saplings. Following the additions made ​​in October, experts from INCDS Brasov reviewed consistency and success rate of the culture. After evaluation, the Prejmer Forest needed  additional samplings, requiring about 400. The action was carried out by specialists  from INCDS Brasov together with a team from Carpathian Foundation . In the same action, after plantings were executed the samplings were sprayed with deer repellent substances to avoid possible damages caused by wildlife in the area. Students who participated in this action were provided a meal.
