Specialists from INCDS Brasov with a team from Carpathian Foundation carried out a long study that aims pedological mapping of areas occupied by the priority habitats of marsh 7210 * and those with alluvial alder forests (code habitat 91E0 *), to establish the dynamics of groundwater and determine the hydrological network.
In this sense in order to determine the hydrologic network, swamp drillings were made in Harman and Prejmer forests. After completion the boreholes were constantly monitored, periodically measuring the water level in them. Processing the data collected in the field, we obtained hydrological network maps and also the influence of rainwater on the hydrological scheme.
