RomânăEach spring, at the beginning of the grazing season a team made up of members from INCDS and FC carried out patrols around the sites to find possible infringements of the regulation. We talked with the sheepfold owners and informed about the areas that are part of the Natura 2000 site and are restricted in terms of grazing.
Carpathian Foundation, together with associated partners (Transilvania University of Brasov and INCDS Marin Drăcea), met with the stakeholders to determine how to use grazing areas. Breeders from Sânpetru, Prejmer and Harman along with representatives of APIA Brașov, Gărzii de Mediu, Direcției Silvice Brașov and Jandarmeria Brașov.
Thus, on April 21 we held a regulatory grazing meeting and discussed specific cases of violation regarding the limits of the 2 sites. Together with the competent authorities (Jandarmeria, Garda de Mediu Brașov, APIA Brașov), we determined that the best solutions to avoid future violations of these limits and the illegal grazing in wich the shepards are involved.
