RomânăStarting Wednesday, November 18, 2015, Carpathian Foundation alongside a team from INCDS and students from the Faculty of Silviculture and Forest in Brasov, carried out a campaign of planting oak seedlings to help the regeneration of eurosiberian steppe vegetation with Quercus from the priority habitat 91IO.At the same time, we conducted works by spraying repellent substances to avoid possible damage to seedlings by fauna in this area.During this action, there were used about 1,600 oak seedlings coming from UTBV solarium. For additional protection, besides repellent treatment,we installed an electric fence that completely encircle the area where plantings were made. Students who participated in this action were a provided meal.
