October 2015- Planting alder seedlings and using repellent


Restoring natural state, preserving and supporting ecological processes in alluvial forests near Prejmer, priority habitat 91E0 * ”.Works were made in early October, in order to increase consistency by planting alder saplings, as required by INCDS Brasov specialists. Planting was done with seedlings that are two years old, requiring about 900 trees to complement the area. Of the 900 juveniles, 500 are from the solarium purchased within the project Life For Marsh.The action was carried out by specialists from INCDS Brasov together with a team from Fundatia Carpati. Also during this action after planting alder saplings, the Carpathian Foundation team with the INCDS Brasov team, conducted the action involving repellent substances applied on the samplings  in order  to avoid possible damage caused by fauna in the area.
