Tuesday, the 24th of March, final year students of the Campina Forestry Highschool, visited the headquarters of the Forest Research and Management Institute in Brasov and those of the LIFE for MARSH project. For a better view on the future integration on the labour market, the students were presented the departments of the institute and the projects implemented by this entity. Georgeta Ionescu (Project Manager, LIFE for Marsh) delivered a presentation of the on-going project, highlighting the competitivity aspects of submitting a proposal, the importance of managerial formation of the personnel accompanied by the technical one and the valuable experince gathered on previous projects. Her argument in favor of nature and the benefits of the forestry studies was concluded by stressing the passion for this field , as a starting point, followed by a lot of work and dedication.
Broshures and custom made ballpoint pens were disseminated to the students and their teachers. The meeting ended with a Q&A session and some further discussions on the biodiversity conservation issue.
